AmpliVox CEO Honored at Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards
AmpliVox Sound Systems’ President and CEO Don Roth has been honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in conjunction with the Daily Herald Business Ledger’s 2011 Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards. Roth will be recognized at an awards dinner sponsored by the Daily Herald on September 22 at Danada House in Wheaton, Illinois.

After purchasing AmpliVox in 1995, Roth reenergized the 30-year-old company with an emphasis on new products, cutting-edge technology and outstanding customer relations. The AmpliVox product line includes a variety of wired and non-wired lecterns, megaphones, portable PA systems, and multi-media presentation workstations. New products are constantly in development to keep pace with changes in technology, including the incorporation of digital media into presentation equipment. Cancer Survivor CEO Makes Corporate Giving A Personal Commitment
Here at Pinkwell.org we give a big shout out to AmpliVox CEO Don Roth for creating the Pink Podium Promise Program. Being a prostate cancer survivor himself, he conceived the program as a way to tangibly help advocacy organizations get their messages across and more than a hundred breast cancer organizations have received their pink podiums.

These pink podiums are made of heavy-duty plastic, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use. They include lockable casters for easy mobility. On May 11th of this year, AmpliVox Sound System announced that it will provide pink podiums to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Affiliates free of charge, to use at all their breast cancer awareness fundraising and educational events.
